This is a modular refractory fireplace with cast iron walls made in Italy. It is meant to be built into an opening for an existing masonry fireplace. Unlike the masonry model (Ecomax) this one is not reversible, you can order it open on the left or right, we currently have only the Left version in stock. A few key points:

The fireplace is NOT UL-listed. It will need to observe clearances for a "site-built appliance" or simply an un-certified fireplace. If you are in doubt how this works please show this page first to your building inspector, installer, and / or insurance company.

The fireplace is put together with refractory mortar, not supplied with it. 

Chimney connection is 8", you can also connect it to a 6" chimney by using a reducer, please make sure you or your installer know how to do this before you order.
