Ideal for oil, coal, heavy wood burner, and pellet stove chimneys, Shelter's stainless steel chimney cap is constructed of 100% 304 stainless steel and built to withstand the toughest of conditions! This chimney cover's durability is rugged enough to tackle any application within 25 miles of a saltwater coast. Its high-quality construction includes a 24-gauge stainless steel hood with scalloped corners and straight cut edges, an 18-gauge 3/4" expanded stainless steel mesh, and a 16-gauge stainless steel base integrated for added strength. The outside mounting design engineers maximum free air space allowing uninhibited chimney draft and installs easily with slotted hex-head mounting bolts. An optional heavy-duty stainless steel leg kit (SCLK) is available for use when the flue tile does not extend above the chimney crown.
